Transforming
WITH PURPOSE.
The reality is simple, too many kids in foster care transition out of care and end up homeless.
More than 23,000 children
will age out of the US foster care system every year.
After reaching the age of 18,
20% of the children who were in foster care will become instantly homeless.
TRANSFORMATION TOWNHOMES
Our girls deserve better than a system that continues to allow a cycle of poverty…
Tulsa Girl’s Home has seen major success in its programs for those in foster care, but we have also faced the reality that our state’s system for transitional care is limited and does not currently create an environment for our girls to succeed in life and thrive in their next steps as they transition into our community without the support of a family.
Tulsa Girls’ Home, is committed to caring for the girls who we already care for—ensuring we provide girls aging out of the system with the next steps that support transition to a successful adulthood and a healthy wellbeing.
